Today I had what I thought was an enlightening conversation with #2 about the lyrics to "Defying Gravity"...the meaning of gravity, the deeper meaning about "learning to fly" and not letting people get us down. I realized it went completely over her head when she responded matter-of-factly, "What that girl needs is pixie dust."
Sometimes I wish I could bottle up her voice like Ursula from Little Mermaid and take it out when I need a lift. One of these days she is going to get over the lisp and will be old enough to use big words without sounding so hysterical. It will be a sad day!!
